Sophia Brodsky, O.D., is a California board-licensed optometrist certified to treat and manage diseases of the eye. Her focus is on dry eye disease diagnosis and management.

Dr. Sophia Brodsky was born and raised in Southern California. She received her B.S. in Physiological Science at UCLA and completed an M.S. in Global Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. Her interest in optometry was first sparked when she worked with Dr. Julie Chen as a tech/receptionist here at Concourse Optometry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She is thrilled to return to Concourse Optometry as a board-certified optometrist. Dr. Brodsky’s clinical experience includes comprehensive training from the West LA VA Medical Center, Orange County Retina, Coastal Vision, the Boys and Girls Club in Garden Grove, and Ketchum Health University Eye Center. During her clinical training, she developed a strong interest in the treatment and management of dry eye disease. As a long-time sufferer of dry eyes, she understands how frustrating it is to live with it and is always looking for the newest, most effective treatment options. She believes in a customized treatment plan for each patient and is excited to integrate IPL as an option for the right patients. Dr. Brodsky is trained and certified to treat Meibomian gland dysfunction and rosacea around the eyes with IPL. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Brodsky loves to spend time with her husband and daughters. She also occasionally revisits the days when she owned a dessert catering business and baked up a storm in the kitchen.
